At Valu-Lens Consulting, LLC, we believe there is a stark difference between training and education. While training is typically focused on “what” to do, education is focused on “what to do and why it is done”. While this difference may appear trivial, we believe that when an employee knows why they are doing something (in addition to what to do of course), they are both more invested in their role and able to manage instances that arise that are considered out of the ordinary (e.g., third shift quality issue). Giving the employees the knowledge to succeed in their role also leads to business success.
Key competencies we provide:
-
Education / training in all the services we provide.
-
Maintenance of education / training requirements over time.
-
Skill evaluation (in both Union and non-union environments).
-
Educate / train the educator / trainer – so the business can maintain its’ own ongoing program.
-
Identification of education / training needs for compliance to Management Systems requirements (e.g. ISO 9000, FSSC 22000, etc.)
